I have been playing guitar for numerous years and i can tell you its hard espiacally as a begginner. But once you pick it up, its really fun and easy to play. The song i started playing first when i was a begginer was smoke on the water. You can get the song almost anywhere online ( make sure you get the simpilfied version, or else its really tough). Its a classic, catchy 2.
If you want something to sing along to, my brother says that Yellow Submarine by The Beatles is easy to play on guitar. You can probably find the notes for guitar on the internet.
